TIAS cooperates with law enforcement inquires, as well as other third parties to enforce laws such as: intellectual property rights, fraud and other rights, to help protect you, the people and organizations that you do business with and TIAS itself. Therefore, in response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government official relating to a criminal investigation &/or alleged illegal activity, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your name, city, province, telephone number, email address, user and transaction history without a court order. However, in an effort to balance your rights, we will not disclose additional information to law enforcement or other government officials without a court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when the additional disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss.
We offer you the ability to automatically review and change the personal information you submit by logging into TIAS and entering the new information yourself. You can change your password, email address and contact information by going to your Profile. You must promptly update your information if it changes or is inaccurate.
